Annual Parade in the Netherlands Pays Homage to Vincent van Gogh with Massive Flower Floats

The Coro Zundert parade in the Netherlands celebrates the country’s reputation as a global supplier of dahlia flowers since 1936. This year 19 teams payed homage and drew inspiration from the work of Vincent van Gogh. The flowery floats are filled with imagery, colors and expressions from van Gogh’s signature style. The floats are now a mixture of tradition and urban art, which are a beautiful spectacle  to attend yearly.

LA Time offers a first reveal at Chloe Bennet’s Skye (aka Daisy Johnson, aka Quake) in the upcoming third season of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D..

“It was really, really fun to put it on. With the inner geek in me – and growing up with six brothers — I was never really interested in being the princess. I was more into being someone who kicked…and was a superhero. So, that was a dream come true,” said Bennet. “It was cool to be a part of the process in helping to design the outfit.”
